Introduction:Kidney transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with severe Chronic Kidney Disease, as it offers better survival and quality life compared to dialysis treatment. Children adolescents from a very young age, experience recurrent hospitalizations, undergo painful procedures exams, in addition presenting impairments their physical, cognitive emotional development, implications self-image, psychosocial issues adherence The psychological assessment pre-transplant period makes possible identify risk factors through understanding individual’s integral dynamics.
